How it all started

I’m a small town kid at heart. Raised in Harrington, Wa. I grew up working on a farm since I was in 7th grade. Our small town didn’t have much in the way of entertainment, but after going to a Bi County Prom(all the little towns together), I fell in love with the DJ and how much fun everyone was having. I thought, why can’t I be a DJ and start doing this for our little school.  I started doing school dances(yes with cassette tapes and records) then before you know it I was doing weddings. The rest is history. I’ve been blessed to be able to do this for over 30 years. I’ve also been lucky enough to be in Spokane radio for 30 years. I started doing a Morning Show in 1995 and we are still going strong today. The Jay and Kevin Show has given me the opportunity to do many amazing things from meeting Garth and many others to following the ZAGS during March Madness. I was also the Public Address announcer for Gonzaga Mens basketball for the past 14 years. It’s been a wild ride, and I look forward to what’s next! 

My Family

I grew up in a family with 2 younger siblings one brother, Keith and a sister Jody. My father passed away when I was 7 and my Mom, Karen raised us as a single Mom. She is a hero indeed.  I have two grown sons, Tyler and Cooper. You might even catch them at an event with me once in awhile helping out. Tyler has a daughter Amelia, yep that makes me Papa! It’s the most fun ever!!! I’ve been working on getting her ready to be a DJ too someday.

From the first HS dance in the late 80’s to the last event I just did, my goal is to always make each event special. I truly believe knowing exactly what each client wants is the key to achieving this goal. The bottom line, anyone can play music., but to truly take an event to the next level requires a DJ/Emcee that knows exactly what to do. Experience the difference, it’s our slogan and it’s exactly what sets us apart.  I have been working with training more great  DJ’s to help expand my business, as well as networking with the absolute best DJ’s in our area. Always trying to find the perfect fit for your event.
